If you’re new to yoga, here’s a few tips that you NEED to know......
- Don’t eat a large meal just before practice. You can have a small snack (fruit or nuts) 1 hour prior, a meal 3 hours prior.
- Try not to wear a strong fragrance to class as it can affect other students.
- Arrive 10 minutes prior to class beginning as you will need to fill out a waiver form and stay to the end.
- If you have a yoga mat, please bring it along. I do have a few spare yoga mats available, if you need one.
- All props, blocks, belts, blankets and bolsters are supplied, but if you do have your own, you’re more than welcome to bring them along. I only have a limited amount of bolsters, so first in, first served.
- If weather is cool, bring additional clothing to keep you warm in savasana (relaxation).
- Bring a bottle of water.
- Wear comfortable clothing.
- Turn your mobile off BEFORE you arrive or leave it in the car.
- Yoga is a personal experience, unique to each person. Never be competitive or compare yourself with others. Completely accepting yourself as you are will bring the most progress in your practice.
- Be kind and loving to yourself by accepting where you are. Listen to your body’s messages and allow the transformation of yoga to be gradual and permanent.
Any student who purchases a 5 CLASS PASS (valid for 2 months) or MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP will automatically join the ONLINE COMMUNITY FACEBOOK GROUP. If you are not on Facebook, then you will receive a weekly email, with new videos and a weekly PLANT BASED meal plan, recipes or something else health related. Over 50 videos (yoga and meditation) are currently available, most of the videos are only available by private link and ONLY accessible to the Community.
